Symantec and MESA have joined forces to bring cybersecurity education to thousands of MESA students across the state of California. Symantec, a global leader in cybersecurity, has donated $150,000 toward the MESA Schools Program which serves over 17,000 students primarily in middle and high school. These students represent future leaders in business, in research and in communities, so getting them exposed to and educated on cyber threats is an investment in California’s future STEM workforce. Symantec will provide a ready-made cybersecurity curriculum and MESA will work to adapt and integrate that into the MESA program model. MESA is proud to work with such an important company whose philanthropic commitment to STEM education is once again demonstrated through this partnership.
