MESA Summer Internships
Every year MESA students spend their summers at companies and in research positions, preparing to become technical professionals. Companies can depend on MESA students to perform and achieve.
Here are a few examples of where four-year and community college MESA students spent this summer.
- San Jose State University: Israel Mireles, Hewlett Packard; Raul Salazar, Parsons Brinckerhoff; Nakul Thomas, NASA AMES and US Geological Survey; Michael Grace, Lockheed Martin; Islea Lopez, Santa Clara Valley Water District.
- Southwestern College: Fernando Villasenor, Rick Engineering Company; Alma V. Moran and Enrique E. Quijada, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center; Victor Delgado, California Regional Water Quality Control Board.
- San Diego State University: Loay Hanthel and Josiah Shultz, Kennedy/Jenks Consultants; AnhKhoa Dang, Emmanuel Hernandez, Carlos Jimenez and Brandon Pollack, Naval Air Systems Command.
- San Diego City College: Santoas Corona, Christopher Lorenzo, and Sheldon Miles, Spectrum Scientific, Inc.
